CLASSROOM INFO/EXPECTATIONS:
Welcome to Our Classroom!

We have set extremely high goals individually and as a class. We strive to meet school-wide R.O.A.R. expectations with a focus on being RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE...and ALWAYS KIND.  

One of my many goals this year is to help students achieve understanding of their academic and behavioral progress and help foster a strong desire to succeed!

-Daily Folders have been provided and are expected to return to school each day. Any homework, behavior charts, letters, notes, and other information will be sent home in this folder.

WE USE CLASS DOJO! PLEASE CONNECT SO YOU CAN STAY UP TO DATE!         


*Chart must be signed if clip is moved on that day.


HOMEWORK:                           
READ 20 minutes each night!

Math Homework will be 2-4 times weekly. Please see folder nightly and communicate with your child. They are given specific homework directions daily.

SPELLING/VOCABULARY HOMEWORK: STUDENTS WILL CHOOSE 3 ACTIVITIES BELOW TO COMPLETE MON, TUES, and WED NIGHT (On Thursday all students should have someone give a quick practice test over ALL WORDS--Assessments on Fridays)

3x each – write words three times each (spelling/vocab)

ABC order- Write words in ABC order

Rainbow Write- use a different color with each letter (s)

Doodle -  bubble letters, dots on letters, artsy letters  (s)

Creative Sentences- Write a juicy, big sentence including each word (s/v)

Hidden Words- draw a picture and hide your words all around it (s/v)

Practice Test- Thursday night- Review for Friday Assessments
