Educational Philosophy

As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed working with young people; and for this reason, I became more resolved to pursue a career in the field of education. I fervently believe we are obligated morally and spiritually as educators to ensure all children are afforded the opportunity to realize their potential for the purpose of achieving their ordained destiny.

We are charged with the Herculean task of providing guidance, structure, knowledge, and above all, love to our students.  Their spirits thirst daily for affirmation that their lives matter and have purpose, from those they trust and revere most.

Therefore, it is incumbent upon us all to underscore the urgency of introducing children at an early age to the fundamentals of reading and mathematics, in an effort to equip them with the resources they will need to be successful, not only in the global arena of academia, but in life.  Collectively, educators, parents, and civic members can make a difference in influencing and enriching young minds. Our children are depending on us. We must not let them down!
