As a school counselor, helping students succeed to their fullest potential is my passion. By having a comprehensive school counseling program, I am able to provide support to students using individual counseling, small groups, and classroom guidance lessons. I do this by strategically utilizing research based data as well as school data. Our counseling program includes collaborating with teachers, administrators, community stakeholders, and parents. Goals for the school counseling program are properly planned out and executed throughout each school year. Data and evidence based research is always considered and advised for the school counseling program overtime to ensure it is effective for student success each year. My goal is for all students to have access to the school counseling program here at West Clayton Elementary School.
